How the Percutaneous Introducer Sheath Works
Coronary catheterization is a minimally invasive procedure to access the coronary circulation using a catheter. The procedure uses a special dye that helps visualize the blood flow through the heart.
PRECAUTIONS
● No oil components injected through sidearm, i.e. lipid emulsion, castor oil, interfacial solution or alcohol like lytic solution, otherwise leading to stopcock rupture.
● No contrast solution injected from sidearm by motoring syringe.
● Make sure balloon is not within the distal end of catheter sheath during balloon inflation nearby the distal end of catheter s heath.
