HYDROPHILIC-COATED RADIAL SHEATHS
The Heety PCI Radifocus Introducer Sheaths are made from polyethylene tubing that offers kink resistance during insertion and use.
Polypropylene (PRO) sheath tubing offers increased resilience and additional support during procedure.
How It Works
The procedure begins with access to the femoral artery through the groin.
A needle is inserted through the skin into the femoral artery. The needle is withdrawn until a flash of blood appears.
The sheath is introduced with the accompanying dilator.
The dilator is removed. The sheath is left behind in the blood vessel holding the tract open and protecting the vessel from trauma.
Removing the dilator
Product features of Transradial Introducer Sheaths include:

Sit-Up Capability: Kink-resistant system provides comfort for patients with an obturator in place.
Locking Hub: Threaded dilator-to-hub interlock prevents dilator backout during insertion, and secure attachment of the sterile sleeve.
Enhanced Tip Geometry: Advanced radiofrequency shaping technology creates a long, continuously smooth taper, for minimum resistance during insertions.
Large Internal Geometry: exceptionally large internal geometries facilitate hemodynamic monitoring and fluid administration.
System Certification
Barty has passed ISO 13485 quality management system certification approved by TUV-SUD in October, 2016; passed assessment of Chinese medical device registration quality management system in January, 2017; passed ISO 13485 quality management system certification approved by BS in July, 2017.
